Couples – couples – couples

A theme that has occupied me in ever new ways since the beginning of my artistic work are couples. At first they were couples whose arms embraced, entwined and constricted each other like shackles. Over the years they gradually changed. Affection, trust, love, care, but also freedom and self-determination are important to me, both in life and in art. My couples dance, fly, dream, love each other and can stand close together like a rock in the surf. They can be completely independent, each for themselves. But they also have the possibility to move apart, to turn away from each other, to separate.

Everything is possible. Everything is open. Everything is play.
